About the messiness of life

My experience of life is that, on the whole, 

it is very messy and most of us are just muddling through.

About a creator of creation

Why do so many people find it hard to believe that the universe has to have a creator? 

I really don't understand. How can they think that something can come from nothing?

The solar system is entirely powered by the sun and all energy on earth, in its manifold forms, emanates from that of the sun. The pull of its gravity is that which keeps its surrounding planets in orbit.

All the ancient belief systems which incorporated a sun god weren't too far off course, were they!

Aboit flaunting or not flaunting

If you've got it,

you don't need to flaunt it. 

About living, or not living, in the land of smiles

No one lives in the land of smiles forever,

not in this life anyway.

About the messiness of life

Always remember, life is messy

and none of us is perfect.

About God and infinity

Catholic children of my era came across the concept of infinity at a very early age. We were taught religion at school by means of the Catechism, a small red book, written in a 'question and answer' style.

The answer to the question, 'Who is God?' was 

''God is the Supreme Being who alone exists of himself and is infinite in all perfections."

I always liked that.
